  • Order a little extra to cover mistakes and offcuts.

Common Questions

Can I use this calculator for curved garden borders?

Yes. For curves or irregular shapes, use the 'Custom' layout and enter the total measured length needed. For circles, use the 'Circle' option and input the diameter.

How do I convert between metres and feet?

Choose your preferred unit system with the toggle. All inputs and results will use the selected unit, so you can work in metres or feet whichever suits your project.

What if my edging pieces are a different length?

Simply enter the exact length of your edging pieces in the provided field. The calculator will adjust the number of pieces required accordingly.

How accurate is the cost estimate?

The cost estimate is as accurate as the price per piece you provide. Always check for bulk discounts or additional materials (like stakes or connectors) that may affect the final cost.

Can I change the currency for the cost calculation?

Yes. Choose your preferred currency from the drop-down menu and the total cost will update to match.

Does the calculator account for waste or cutting allowances?

The calculator provides the precise number of pieces needed. For best results, order a little extra to account for cuts, curves, or errors.
